Derbyshire Open Arts 2013

Banks Mill Studios Open…...2013 will be the 8th successive year that Derbyshire Open Arts will be offering its county-wide art event over Spring Bank Holiday weekend – Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May. Since its inception in 2006, the event has grown year-on-year. In 2012, 275 artists and craftspeople welcomed over 17,000 visitors at 95 venues. My studio will be open on all 3 days, hope to see you there.

Experimenting with getting editions from my Kant series printed onto square Hahnemühle paper (rather than as orbs behind glass). I'm pleased with the quality.
I laugh at myself sometimes (actually a lot!), my first visit to a hide in a proper bird watching place (Burtonmere wetlands) and I'm loving everything about the experience - the birds, the sounds, the tranquility, the meditative nature of it all. So
Here's Larry and Andy enjoying being part of Chester's first Photo Festival. It's all over now but it sounds like it will be back next year. Thanks to Alex and the team for organising such a successful and gargantuan event. Post includes 2 reposts.
